FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 c. pecans
2 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients, add oil. Beat eggs and add to batter, also add vanilla. Fold in apples, raisins and nuts, mix well. Bake in a 9x13 inch pan at 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. Pet milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix, boil 1 minute, stir and spread over layer.
