APPLE NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. apples, peeled and cubed
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, salt, and soda; mix until creamed. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in greased 13 x 9 x 3 inch pan.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed a little
1/4 c. milk

Bring to boil and boil 2 1/2 minutes. Spoon over top of hot cake after you remove it from the oven. Cool. Delicious served with ice cream or whipping cream. Can be frozen.
