GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
6 lb. red potatoes 1 1/4 c. cider vinegar 1/2 c. water 3/4 c. sugar 3/4 lb. bacon, cut up 1 lg. onion, chopped Boil potatoes in jackets until done. Peel and slice. Fry bacon until crisp. Add onion and saute. Add vinegar, water and sugar. Bring to a boil. Pour sauce over potatoes, stir gently. Serves 10 to 12. |
