GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6-8 potatoes, boil, remove skins & chop
1 lg. red onion, diced
2 lg. cucumbers, cut in fours, sliced

Place in fry pan 1/2 pound diced bacon, cook until crisp. Add 1/4 cup white vinegar and 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar, dissolved. Should have nice sweet-sour sauce with bacon flavor. Pour over diced potato mixture and mix. Serve warm.
