SWEET SOUR RED CABBAGE 
1 head red cabbage, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 c. water
2 pkt. beef broth & seasoning mix
1 tsp. ground cloves
3 bay leaves
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. red vinegar

Saute cabbage and onion in small amount of butter until glassy. Pour in water. Add seasoning mix, cloves, bay leaves and salt. Steam about 45 minutes. Dissolve sugar and cornstarch in vinegar until smooth. Remove cabbage from heat, stir in cornstarch mixture until thickened. Serve with new potatoes. Goes good with pork chops or Polish sausage.
