SWEET-N-SOUR RED CABBAGE 
1 med. head red cabbage, shredded
1 med. apple, peeled & chopped
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. butter

In large skillet, cook cabbage, apple and raisins covered in a small amount of boiling water for 5-7 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.

In mixing bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add to cabbage mixture in skillet and add butter. Cook covered for 3-4 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings. Goes great with pork.
