2 qt. apple cider
1 pt. cranberry juice
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. aromatic bitters
2 sticks cinnamon
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 orange studded whole cloves
1 c. rum (optional)

Mix all ingredients in pot. Heat on medium flame 1 hour. Reduce flame, just enough to warm 2-6 hours.
