PASTA BEAN STEW 
In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, heat:

Add: 1/2 c. green pepper 2 minced garlic cloves

Saute about 3 minutes or until soft.

Add:

Bring to a boil.

Add: 1 c. water 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. basil 1/8 tsp. pepper

Reduce heat, cover, simmer about 10 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Drain and rinse.

Add: 1 (16 oz.) can chick peas

Add chick peas, kidney beans and liquid to the stew. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese. Cook about 5 minutes or until heated through, stirring frequently. About 6 servings. 3/4 cup each.
