CHUCK WAGON FIXIN 
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. flour
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
12 hamburger buns
Grated cheese
Green pepper rings
Tomato slices

Preheat skillet. Melt butter and cook onions until tender. Add ground beef, salt and pepper breaking up meat with fork. Cook until meat is well browned. Drain. Reduce heat and blend in flour. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Continue cooking until mixture is thickened, stirring occasionally. Stir in ketchup and parsley flakes. Cook about 3 minutes longer. Serve on toasted hamburger buns. Garnish with grated cheese and green pepper and tomato slices if desired. Serves 12.
