BANANA TORTE 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar

Cream together, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in 1/2 of a large carton of Cool Whip. Pour over cooled crust. Cover with 4 large sliced bananas. Prepare 2 packages of instant vanilla pudding with 3 cups milk. Pour over bananas and cover with rest of the Cool Whip. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. A good dessert to make ahead. Very good.
