PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
1 baked 9" pie shell
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/4 c. cornstarch
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites, room temperature

Combine powdered sugar and peanut butter; mix to coarse meal. Put half in shell. Combine remaining ingredients, except egg whites. Cook until thick, put over peanut butter layer in pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff, spread over filling. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter mixture over meringue. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool before serving.
