2 c. Bisquick 2/3 c. milk 1/2 c. melted butter 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. cooked raisins Stir together in a bowl the Bisquick and the milk. Turn dough out on a floured board and knead by folding, pressing and turning 10 times. Roll dough into a rectangle 7x12 inches. Spread with the melted butter. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Add raisins. Beginning on long side, roll up the dough. Seal by pinching the edge into a roll. Cut into 1 inch slices. Bake about 12 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before frosting with the following: 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. milk VARIATION: Add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts either in place of or in addition to the raisins. Yield: 1 to 1 1/2 dozen. |
