HOT BACON DRESSING 
6 thick pieces bacon
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 tsp. cornstarch

Cut bacon into narrow strips and fry until crisp; drain; add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to grease. Fry 4 minutes over medium heat. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to mixture; add bacon. Good on cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts.
