PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
2 yellow cake layers
2 (4 oz.) pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
1 lg. can cherry pie filling
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. shredded coconut
1 lg. can fruit cocktail, drained
1 lg. can chunk or crushed pineapple, drained
2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip containers
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

1. Make cake, cool completely.

2. Make pudding and refrigerate to set.

3. Place on cake layer in bowl (6 quart punch bowl).

4. Add in layers - pudding, pie filling, fruit cocktail, pineapple, nuts, coconut and Cool Whip.

5. Add second cake layer, continue layering ingredients.

6. Garnish top with cherries, nuts or coconut.

7. Refrigerate.

8. Spoon down side to at least 1st layer to get some of all ingredients.

9. Serves 35 people.
