BANANA BREAD 
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. Sugar
2 Eggs
2 c. mashed ripe Bananas
2 c. all-purpose Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. chopped Pecans
1/2 c. Raisins

Cream butter gradually. Add sugar, beating well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add bananas and mix until smooth. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, stirring just enough to moisten. Stir in chopped pecans and raisins.

Bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 350°F for one hour. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to completely cool.

Makes 1 large and 1 small loaf. This freezes well. (Good for muffins, too.)
