BANANA ORANGE NUTMEG BREAD 
2 extra ripe, med. bananas, peeled
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
1 c. raisins

Puree bananas in blender (1 cup). Pulverize walnuts in blender; combine with flour, baking powder, soda, nutmeg, and salt. Cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, orange juice and peel until blended. Beat in flour mixture in thirds alternately with pureed bananas. Stir in raisins. Pour into greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Bake in 325 degree oven 1 hour and 20 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn onto wire rack to cool completely. Makes 1 loaf.
