FLOWERPOT BANANA BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed quite ripe bananas (2-3)
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. sugar

NOTE: This recipe requires a new 6 to 6 1/2 inch clay pot.

Prepare flower pot as follows: After washing, grease and line with wax paper, cutting to fit and grease again.

Sift together flour, soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter, then add sugar, eggs and bananas, blending thoroughly.

Combine milk and lemon juice to banana mixture, then stir in nuts. Pour mixture into prepared flower pot and place into removable liner. Place liner in base. Cover with 2-3 paper towels. Bake in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours. Do not lift cover even to peek until last hour.

NOTE: A 2-pound coffee can may be used. Yield: 1 "pot" of bread.
