RHUBARB TORTE 
1 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour

Mix like pie crust and pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

FILLING:

6 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cream
Grated rind of 1 orange
2 tbsp. flour
5 c. rhubarb, cut up fine

Mix together all ingredients, except rhubarb, beat with mixer until well blended. Add rhubarb and stir. Pour mixture over baked crust. Bake 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees, until custard is set.

MERINGUE:

6 egg whites
12 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla. Spread over torte and bake until golden brown.
