BUN RECIPE 
3 c. milk scalded

Into the hot milk add:

6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt

In separate bowl dissolve 2 packages yeast in 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/2 cup warm water. When milk mixture is cooler add 3 well beaten eggs.

I usually sift 5 cups of flour into mixing bowl then add your warm milk and dissolved yeast mixture. Mix well and then keep adding flour so it doesn't stick to your hands. The less flour you use the better the buns. Let rise to top of container. Mix down. The second time it rises, put onto greased cookie sheets. Roll into balls, about size of a golf ball. Press down flat with buttered hands. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Spread tops with butter while hot. Makes 6 dozen.
