TEXAS TURKEY HASH 
1 lb. ground turkey
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 c. long grain brown rice
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper

In a microwave-safe plastic colander, combine turkey, onion, and bell pepper. Set colander in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 100% power (high) 5-6 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, stirring several times with a fork during cooking.

In a 2-quart microwave-safe casserole dish, combine turkey mixture, tomatoes with juice, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cover tightly. Microwave on 100% power (high) 15-18 minutes or until rice is tender.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
