QUICK MIX WHOLE WHEAT PANCAKES
2 cups whole-wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Stir together dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, and oil. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened (batter may be lumpy). Cook on preheated griddle until bubbles form and edges start to dry. Flip and cook until lightly browned. I like to serve with sliced strawberries and bananas, drizzled with honey.

Quick Mix Whole Wheat Pancakes

Holy smokes! _really_good_. I love recipes that are simple and easy to personalize, thank you! I cut the recipe in half, milled the whole wheat flour, used skim milk, safflower oil and added 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (yeah, I spooked at no sugar in the recipe.) I also threw in some fresh raspberries, which were tasty, but made a mess on the griddle.

How can a perfect egg, not developed in any laboratory and free from chemical additives be "bad" for your diet? Even more ludicrous, how can an artificial substitute for such a perfect gift from nature be a healthy replacement? You've been brainwashed. Don't believe everything you read that's paid for and published by so-called "science" which is nothing more than corporate propaganda. Use common sense, real eggs from real chickens and olive oil from olive trees.

These are great. To make them healthier, get rid of the eggs and the oil, both of which lead to cancer and obesity, according to the best nutritional science. (See the China Study and the E2 Diet.) Replace the eggs with something like No Egg and the oil with three tablespoons of applesauce. Yummy! Thanks for the recipe.

We tried these pancakes this morning. I added vanilla to the batter and sliced bananas to each pancake. Big hit with our 8 year old.

Pancakes were great!! I replaced three things on the recipe though to cut some of the calories. I used apple sauce instead of oil and a half cup of egg whites instead of 2 eggs. For the milk I used 1-1/2 cups of skim milk and 1/2 cup of fat free half and half. I made a couple with mashed up banana in the batter and they were AMAZING.

We're snowed in and really felt like pancakes, but not something very unhealthy. Most of the pancake recipes I found were too high-fat/cal. Then I found this! I added some flax seeds, cinnamon, and vanilla & served with yogurt & honey. Delicious, thanks!!!

This recipe really is perfect. Amazing, hearty, dense-but-not-cakey, stick-to-your-ribs pancakes. I put a little oil in the pan to crisp up the sides to give added texture. I had no problems with clumping at all. The consistency is just right.

These are delicious-- thanks! I had no vegetable oil and had to use olive oil instead, but it worked all right anyway. Will definitely use this recipe again!

I halved the recipe for two people and added 1/2 banana. They were good; plenty sweet and very yummy with maple syrup.

Hats off! I'm a typical guy who hates to cook but does anyways to survive and your recipe rocks! Made em for my diabetic mom with Eggbeaters (without yolk), olive oil, half banana and sugar free jam - she loves em and works with her diet limitations!

I tried quite a few pancake recipes and this one by far is the best. My kids LOVE it!
Thank you very much!
