E-Z KEY LIME PIE | |
1 graham cracker pie crust 3 eggs, separated 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1/2 c. lime juice 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1/3 c. sugar Beat egg yolks, stir in milk and lime juice, and pour into crust. In a small bowl, beat egg whites and gradually add cream of tartar until soft peaks form; then add sugar gradually. Beat until soft but not dry. Spread meringue on pie. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown. Chill in refrigerator. Keep refrigerated. |
