REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
7 c. cucumbers, sliced
1 c. onion, sliced
1 green pepper, finely sliced
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

Combine cucumbers, onion and green pepper in a bowl. Add sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed; mix well. Cover and store in refrigerator. Wait 24 hours before enjoying. Pickles will last for about three months. OPTIONS: For a different touch add either garlic, dill, oregano or hot pepper sauce.
