REFRIGERATED CUCUMBERS (PICKLES) 
6 c. thin sliced cucumbers
1 c. thin sliced onions
1 green pepper, sliced thin

Put in quarts.

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/8 tsp. alum
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1/8 tsp. turmeric

Let cool a bit and then pour over sliced vegetables. Put lids on jars and store in refrigerator. Will be ready to eat in two days. Use as needed.
