STRAWBERRY BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 egg yolks (reserve egg whites)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder, add alternately with
1 c. fresh strawberries or 1 (10 oz.) box frozen berries, thawed & drained

Cream together butter and sugar. Beat egg whites and fold into the entire mixture. Bake in 325 degree oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Makes 1 loaf.
