QUICK HOMEMADE SOUP 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. water from vegetables
1/2 c. cream or milk
1 c. vegetables (of your choice), chopped & cooked
Dash salt
Dash pepper

Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. Cook until blended. Stir in the water from the vegetables that you are using. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and slowly add the milk or cream. Add the vegetables and seasonings. Heat to serving temperature. Do not boil or milk or cream will curdle.

Use any vegetable. Cook to desired consistency and use the vegetable and its broth for the best flavor. Cauliflower with cheese is good.
