CHRISTMAS SNOWBALLS 
1/2 lb. butter
17 heaping tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. granulated sugar
5 tbsp. finely ground walnuts
2 oz. pure vanilla

Blend together butter, sugar and flour. Add enough vanilla to make a soft dough. Pinch dough into small balls the size of a walnut. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes until golden brown. Do not overbake. Shake in bag with 10x sugar while still hot. After they are completely cool, you may dip into powdered sugar again until they resemble snowballs. Will keep indefinitely.
