DATE AND NUT CAKE 
1 lb. pecans
2 lbs. dates
5 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cut up dates in flour, and set aside. (Do not use the cup of flour that goes in the cake). Beat eggs, and add sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and dates. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven in tube pan.
