SUPER QUICK DINNER ROLLS
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). If you are not using a nonstick muffin pan, grease 5 cups of a regular muffin pan.

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, milk, and mayonnaise. Spoon into the 5 prepared muffin cups.

Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until nicely puffed and browned.

Makes 5.

I love this! So simple and idiot proof (me proof). I added just a bit of sugar because I like a bit of sweetness.

Definitely repeating!

I made this recipe last night and doubled the quantity of the ingredients, got about 12 rolls/biscuits out of it. They were delicious and super simple. So clever to use mayonnaise to substitute other ingredients. You can't go wrong with this recipe. Thanks Chris for posting this wonderful recipe!

These turned out really great! They did rise a bit, I substituted Himalayan sea salt, added a pinch of sugar and a wee bit extra baking soda.

I've also made this recipe with one egg instead of the 2 tbsp. mayonnaise.

Family loved them! under 30 minutes to the table.

Quick Tip: Pull the biscuits out when times up, then add a small dollop of butter to the top of the rolls and put back into the oven until ready to serve.

So good! Thanks for posting!

Very efficient recipe. The texture is a bit different from bread but it is nice. I would prefer 1/4 teaspoon of salt instead. You can replace other thing such as tomato relish with mayonnaise.

These were ok. They had the consistency of cornbread and tasted a lot like biscuits instead of rolls.

My husband commented that they tasted like Bisquick biscuits. I had to agree, however they were great in a time pinch. They would be yummy with some herbs and butter or cheese on top.

Was looking for something super quick and easy but got so much more! This makes the perfect number of delicious "rolls" although they are more similar to small biscuits. And the recipe only calls for standard ingredients most folks have on hand. This one's a keeper for us!

I like these rolls, but my husband thinks they are too dry and not salty enough! Also, these are more like biscuits, than rolls, but I think they are easy, and very much worth trying.

These are so quick, easy, light and fluffy with great taste. I will make them over and over again. My husband like ours a tad smaller so the tops and bottoms are a little crispy, but the full size ones are SO light and wonderful - I'm sharing this recipe with anyone who would like it. :-)

Thanks for this recipe. I am new to baking bread and a vegetarian and this no eggs, no yeast recipe truly was simple for a beginner.

NOTE: I needed 10 of these so I doubled all ingredients except the flour and added a cup of whole-wheat flour instead. Plus 1/3 cups of milk extra. Baked for 17 mins as D suggested and they came out - Perfect!
