GERMAN CHOCOLATE CHESS SQUARES 
1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl until dry ingredients are moistened. Press into bottom of a grease 9x13x2 pan. Set aside Combine cream cheese, 2 eggs and 1 cup powdered sugar. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Gradually add remaining sugar beating after each addition. Pour over chocolate layer. Spread evenly. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°F. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
