BEST EVER SUGAR COOKIES | |
1 c. soft butter flavored Crisco 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. confectioners' sugar 1 c. vegetable oil 2 eggs 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla 4 1/4 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Granulated sugar Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugars. Add oil and eggs, mix well. Blend in remaining ingredients except granulated sugar at end of recipe. If desired, dough can be covered and chilled several hours to make handling easier. Roll dough into walnut size balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Dip the bottom of glass in granulated sugar and press each roll flat. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 7 dozen. Store in airtight container. |
