1/3 c. plus 1 tbsp. shortening
1 c. Gold Medal flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2-3 tbsp. cold water

Cut shortening thoroughly into flour and salt. Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Mix and gather into a ball. On lightly floured cloth- covered board, roll 2 inches larger than inverted pie pan. Ease into pan; flute.
