MICROWAVE PICKLES 
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
2 cucumbers (unpeeled - sliced thin)
1 onion, sliced thin

Mix onions and cucumbers in a large microwave safe casserole dish. Combine salt, turmeric, celery seed, vinegar and sugar and pour over cucumbers and onions. Cook on high power 5 minutes. Stir well. Cook on high 5 minutes more. Cool.

These can be kept in a plastic container in the refrigerator.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
