MICROWAVE PICKLES 
1 lg. cucumber, sliced in 1/4" thick rounds
1 med. onion, sliced in rounds
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. distilled white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. mustard seed

Mix all ingredients together in a 2 quart microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high 7 to 8 minutes, stirring twice, until cucumber is crisp tender and onion is translucent. Ladle into glass jar and refrigerate.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
