VELMA TRAXLER'S POTATO SALAD 
8 med. red potatoes, cooked and cut into sm. cubes
4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped fine
1/4 onion, finely chopped (amount depends on personal taste)
Celery seed
Salt

COOKED DRESSING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tbsp. mustard
1 egg
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt

Prepare dressing by combining first 4 ingredients; then add last 3. Cook until thickened and boil a little while. Chill.

Combine potato cubes, chopped egg, and onion; sprinkle liberally with celery seed. Salt to taste.

Mix together cooked dressing and mayonnaise (ratio 2:1); blend until smooth. Combine with potato mixture until very moist.
