ROAST PORK IN WINE 
4 lb. pork roast
1/4 c. butter
Salt and pepper
1 onion, studded with 4 cloves
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. rosemary
Pinch thyme
3/4 c. white wine

Brown pork in butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add onion, garlic, rosemary and thyme. Add wine. Cover and simmer over low heat 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Strain sauce and serve with pork. 4-6 servings.

This is my husband's favorite meat dish. I use his homemade grape wine to make it.
