1 lb. orange slice candy
1 can Angel Flake coconut

Flour these two with 1/2 cup flour.

2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. box raisins
1 c. nuts
4 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Sift flour and soda. Mix sugar, salt and eggs. Add butter. Mix buttermilk with flour into mixture.

Combine all together and bake in a tube pan which has been greased and floured. Cook at 300 degrees for about 1 hour 20 minutes.

Heat one cup fresh orange and 1/2 cup brown sugar until dissolved. Spoon over cake while hot and let stand in pan until cool.
