BEEFY CHEESE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 sm. can sliced black olives
1 c. sour cream
1 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 lg. pkg. tortilla chips

Saute beef; drain excess fat. Add onion, garlic salt, tomato sauce and sliced olives. Combine sour cream, cottage cheese and green chilies. Crush 1/2 the tortilla chips into the bottom of a buttered 7"x12" baking dish. Spread cheese mixture over meat layer. Sprinkle with grated cheese and garnish top with remaining tortilla chips which may be whole or crushed as desired. Do not cover. Bake 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
