EL DORADO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. ripe olives, sliced
1 (8 oz.) carton commercial sour cream
1 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
3/4 c. chopped green chilies
1 (7 oz.) pkg. tortilla corn chips (crushed)
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Cook ground beef until browned, stirring often to crumble. Drain. Add next 4 ingredients. Cook over low heat until onion is transparent.

Combine sour cream, cottage cheese and chiles. Layer half the chips, meat mixture, sour cream mixture and cheese in a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
