BETTY'S SUPERB SWEET POTATOES 
4 (1 lb.) cans sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. bourbon
1/2 c. chopped pecans (or to taste)
Marshmallows

Heat potatoes in their canned syrup. Drain and mash well. Add sugar, butter and bourbon, with enough milk to make consistency of mashed potatoes. Place in buttered casserole and sprinkle pecans on top. Cover with marshmallows.

Put in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour or until topping is browned and mixture is baked to your satisfaction.
