3/4 c. shortening (1/2 butter, softened) 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1 1/2 c. flour (self-rising) 2 eggs 1 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. vanilla Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar. Blend in 1 1/2 cups flour. press evenly in bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 12-15 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients, spread over hot baked layer and bake 20 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. |
