FRIED RICE | |
3 tbsp. vegetable oil 1/4 c. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. green pepper, chopped 1/4 c. carrots, chopped 6 snow peas, halved 2 c. cooked rice 1 can (5 oz.) water chestnuts, drained & thinly sliced 1/2 c. mushrooms, thinly sliced 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 c. Scramblers Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, green pepper, carrots and snow peas; cook and stir until tender. Stir in rice, water chestnuts, mushrooms and soy sauce. Cook over low heat 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in Scramblers; cook and stir 5 minutes longer or until Scramblers are set. Makes 4 servings. |
