BLAUKRAUT GERMAN RED CABBAGE 
1 head red cabbage
Small amount of oil
2 tsp. vinegar
1 - 1 1/2 c. water
6 cloves
2 small apples (sliced up)
Salt, pepper to taste

Cut up the cabbage, wash and drain. In a large kettle heat oil. Mix the cabbage and all other ingredients. Cook for about 30 minutes, or until the cabbage becomes soft. The water should be cooked away.

Servings for 4 persons.
