AUNT ELSIE'S SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD 
1 lb. butter (NO butter)
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour. Make into rolls in waxed paper and freeze. Slice 1/4 inch thick and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Watch closely.
