TAYLOR'S SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD | |
3/4 c. all purpose flour, unsifted 3/4 c. whole wheat flour 2/3 c. rolled oats 1 c. butter 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed 1 c. plain M & M's or peanut butter M & M's Combine all ingredients except M & M's in large bowl. Mix with hands until well blended and crumbly. Press firmly and evenly into lightly buttered 10 x 13 pan. Press M & M's lightly into dough. Bake at 300 degrees for approximately 45 minutes. Cut into bars. While still warm; let cool in pan. Makes about 3 dozen. |
