HOT GREEN PEPPER JELLY 
1/4 c. hot green peppers
3/4 c. green bell peppers
6 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt

Using blender blend peppers together. Combine all ingredients and juice from peppers in a large pot. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add a few drops of green food coloring to make the color a light green. Add a bottle of liquid fruit pectin (Certo). Pour slowly into jars. Seal according to instructions on the bottle.

Note: Takes 1 large green bell pepper and 8 hot green peppers. Be sure to use gloves when handling the hot peppers.
