MINCEMEAT DIAMONDS 
1 tbsp. soft butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour (sifted)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 tbsp. hot water
1/4 c. chopped raisins
Chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) box mincemeat

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beat. Add molasses. Add dry ingredients, then hot water, then raisins, nuts and mincemeat. Spread on 2 greased 13 x 9 inch pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until nicely browned. Spread with frosting of 3 cups powdered sugar, 1/3 cup hot milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Sprinkle with nuts and cut into diamonds when cool.
