STEAK SAN MARCO 
2 lbs. chuck steak, 1 inch thick, cut into serving size pieces
1 env. onion soup mix
1 (1 lb.) can Italian peeled tomatoes
1 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. wine vinegar
Freshly ground pepper and garlic powder, to taste

Arrange meat in large skillet. Cover with onion soup mix and tomatoes. Sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, pepper, oil, and vinegar. Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Makes 4-6 servings.
