RAISIN SAUCE 
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. vinegar

In a medium saucepan combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in water, add raisins, lemon peel, lemon juice and vinegar. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Serve with ham, pork or poultry. Makes about 2 cups.
