RAISIN SAUCE 
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. flour
Grating of nutmeg or lemon rind

Boil first 4 ingredients for 15 minutes. Melt butter, stir in flour. Add sauce slowly, stir until boiling. Add flavoring. Makes about 1 2/3 cups.
